Inspired by the Holy Shroud

The Carlo Acutis Foundation is committed to promoting knowledge of the Holy Shroud, a treasure kept in the city of Turin, and to supporting social and charitable works inspired by the image of the “Greater Love” imprinted on it.

On the occasion of the Jubilee 2025, the Foundation actively supported diocesan initiatives during the days of the Shroud Feast, which was celebrated with the Shroud Tent in Piazza Castello from April 28 to May 5.

Since March 2024, the Foundation has been collaborating with the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE), at whose headquarters in Rome the exhibitions “IN CAMMINO. La porta di Torino: itinerari Sindonici sulla Via Francigena” and “volti nel Volto” are on display.

  • In June 2024, the Carlo Acutis Foundation supported the digitalization of the new headquarters of the Council of the Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) in Rome.

Origin of the phrase The sequel of looking at the Shroud

The phrase “The sequel of looking at the Shroud” comes from the words of Father Stanislaus Mutajwaha, founder of the Kwauso school in Tanzania. It is a school dedicated to the Holy Face of the Shroud, with a church devoted to Divine Mercy and a computer center dedicated to Blessed Carlo Acutis. Everything started from a moment of contemplation of the Holy Shroud.
